What size bin do I need for my project?

Bin sizes are measured in cubic yards, which means measuring the length, width and height of the container and multiplying the three numbers together. For example, a bin that is 2 yards long, 2 yards wide and 1 yard tall is 4 cubic yards. Available sizes include 4, 6, 10, 14, 15 and 20 yards. 

Will the dumpster fit in my driveway?

Bin There Dump That's bins come in a variety of sizes and have a footprint about the size of - if not smaller than - a minivan. Most driveways are at least 10 feet wide, providing plenty of room for the bin.

Can I place the dumpster on any surface?

Flat, hard surfaces - like a driveway - are ideal for dumpster placement. Surfaces to avoid include: slopes, city streets (without a permit), soft ground and property that's not your own. Ensure your dumpster's placement is safe and secure.

Will a dumpster damage my driveway?

The only way to truly protect your driveway is to make sure that the bin itself never actually touches the ground.  Our proper use of large strong wooden planks is the best and most effective method.

Do I need to be home when you deliver the dumpster?

Nope. But be sure you clearly inform your local operator  where you'd like your dumpster rental placed.

Can I rent a dumpster when there's snow on the ground?

Definitely. Dumpster bin availability is very good in the snowiest, blowiest season. We do ask that you grab a shovel and clear a space for the bin to ensure traction on wet, slippery driveways. Spreading a little de-icer is a great idea, too.

When will I be expected to pay for my dumpster rental?

Each Bin There Dump That operator handles his or her transactions differently. Generally, you'll need a credit card that will be preauthorized - you won't be charged until the bin is picked up. Another common approach to payment is paying when the agreement is made, upfront.

Do you accept straight loads of material?

Sometimes, you have a huge load of one material that you need to get rid of. That's called a straight load. Bin There Dump That operators are happy to take your straight loads of material.

How long can I keep my dumpster rental?

The dumpster should be there in your driveway for as long as you need it - but not longer than you want it! Bin There Dump That franchisees usually charge on a 7-day basis and then on a per-day basis if you need the bin longer.

Returning The Dumpster

Where do you take the dumpster after I'm done using it?

Once bins are picked up, they immediately taken to a landfill or a transfer station. For most bins, that's pretty much the end of the story.
